Menu
L’Experience Paris is an absolute revelation. Operating under the vision of Julien Hervet, this is not simply a bakery or a cafe — it is a comprehensive French concept store and bistro, with sister locations in Bellevue, Kirkland, and Mercer Island.
The Pastries
The viennoiseries and pâtisseries are made fresh daily by hand in their Mercer Island Atelier de Production. The legendary butter croissants ($7.74) are flaky perfection — the kind that make you close your eyes on the first bite. The intricately folded Kouign-Amann ($10.34) is equally extraordinary. The establishment strictly avoids convenient shortcuts, intentionally maintaining limited quantities to guarantee the highest possible quality and freshness.
Beyond Pastries
The lunch and dinner menu features items like the classic Croque Monsieur ($20.80), crafted with milk bread, béchamel cream, jambon de Paris, and emmental cheese, and the Le Parisien sandwich on a levain baguette. Each item reflects the same uncompromising standards as the morning pastries.
The Concept Store
L’Experience Paris serves as an exclusive local purveyor for iconic Parisian brands: Pierre Hermé macarons, Mariage Frères teas, and Alain Milliat products. Their beverage program includes carefully curated French terroir wines imported directly from small producers.
